Artist Reception: Sarah Moore

The work of the Sarah Moore will be on display in the West Tisbury Library Community Room throughout the month of November. Join us for a reception on Friday, November 6th 3-4:30pm. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

About: This show, Martha’s Vineyard: Farm and Sea, will feature paintings and drawings of ocean and farm life on the island, in both representational and abstract styles. Barns, fishing sheds, sea life, the ocean, harbors, horses, farm equipment and tools are some of the images represented. The variety of styles and mediums reflect my interest in working with acrylic paint, watercolors, ink and graphite, and colored pencils. There is a strong contrast between the stark detailed pen and ink drawings and the larger abstract colorful paintings.
